A quick note from all of us at Ascending on our community guidelinesβ€”finding a job can be a stressful time and we want to make sure the environment we're all creating is one of celebration, support & positivity ✨

To that end, we ask everyone to adhere to the following guidelines to keep our workspace conducive to that end!

  • Bully or make inflammatory remarks to other community members

πŸ€” Use messaging/email responsibly.Β  These tools are intended to keep developers/ employers/ alumni in touch with one another, to help facilitate networking and to promote common interests. Some examples might include:

  • Inviting local area alumni to a networking event or to join a fun coding project to build your resume
  • Helping to coordinate a virtual class reunion
  • Reaching out to individual alumni for advice, to reconnect or to join a employer group
  • Please respect the privacy of community member's personal information. Don't sell it, share it or spam it.Β

We will take action when we see someone violating these guidelines. Sometimes that just means giving someone a warning; other times it means revoking certain privileges or accounts entirely. We request that all community members report behavior that violates our guidelines to
